Hakim Kyeswa: A Message Of Unity And Reflection As We Fast The Holy Month Of Ramadan

Dear Comrades,

As we embark on this sacred and blessed month of Ramadan, I extend my warmest wishes to each of you. This is a time for spiritual reflection, prayer, and renewal of our commitment to peace, love, and unity. Let us use this holy month to pray for our beloved country, Uganda, and for His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, whose wise leadership continues to guide our nation forward.

This Ramadan holds special significance as it is the last before the upcoming general elections. It is a moment for us to pause and reflect deeply on our individual and collective roles in shaping the future of our nation. Let us honor the sacrifices of the brave men and women who laid down their lives to secure the peace and freedom we enjoy today. Their legacy calls us to embrace unity, reject division, and work together for the common good.

In this holy month, let us put aside hate, sectarianism, tribalism, and nepotism. These vices have no place in the Uganda we aspire to build—a nation where our children and grandchildren can thrive in harmony and prosperity. Instead, let us focus on fostering love, understanding, and solidarity among all Ugandans, regardless of our differences.

May the mercy and blessings of Almighty God be upon us throughout this holy month. May He guide our hearts and actions as we strive to build a peaceful, united, and prosperous Uganda. Let us use this time to strengthen our bonds, uplift one another, and recommit ourselves to the values of peace, love, and justice.
