Thousands of women converge in Kampala for Phaneroo’s ‘My Great Price 2025’

Kampala, Uganda: Over 20,000 women thronged the Phaneroo Grounds opposite Naguru Hospital on Saturday for My Great Price 2025, a monumental spiritual conference hosted by Apostle Grace Lubega under Phaneroo Ministries International.

Themed “Rise and Build”, the annual gathering brought together women from across Uganda, the region, and the diaspora for a transformative encounter focused on identity, faith, empowerment, and national transformation.

By midmorning, the open-air space had become a sea of coordinated attire, praise, and prophetic declarations.

Billed not just as a spiritual conference but as a divine appointment, My Great Price, named after the biblical phrase from 1 Peter 3:4, has become a monumental annual gathering where women are reawakened to their God-given identity, value, and mandate.

The conference is an unapologetic call to awaken purpose, dismantle societal limitations, and unleash kingdom builders. “We are not organizing a mere gathering, we are mobilizing a movement,” declared Phaneroo lead Pastor, Apostle Grace Lubega, during the pre-event mobilization, a sentiment that deeply resonated with the thousands who packed the grounds in Naguru and thousands more online.

In his keynote message, Apostle Grace delivered a stirring sermon that wove together theology, prophetic insight, and practical exhortation. His call to action was unmistakable: “You are not ordinary. You carry divine worth. There is destiny encoded within you. Rise. Build. Manifest.”

He challenged attendees to rise beyond cultural stereotypes, confront fear, and activate their spiritual authority. His message was not only rich in scripture but laced with passion and urgency, resonating powerfully across the generations present.

Hon. Minsa Kabanda, Uganda’s Minister for Kampala and Metropolitan Affairs, graced the event and lauded the spiritual awakening and empowerment the conference provided to women. In her remarks, the minister emphasized the vital role women play in building resilient communities and transforming the nation.

“A woman of substance is one who walks with dignity, speaks with wisdom, and stands firm in her values,” Hon. Kabanda noted, adding that women are key contributors in all spheres—be it the home, marketplace, boardroom, or corridors of power.

While government efforts are ongoing to empower women through socio-economic and political programs, the minister emphasized that genuine empowerment begins within. “Empowerment must begin with self-worth. The issues you are addressing here today, identity, purpose, and faith, are foundational,” she said.

Reflecting on the theme of the event, she paraphrased the message of Apostle Grace: “Indeed, as Apostle Lubega has declared, these women are not ordinary. They are builders. They are leaders. They are the backbone of transformation.”

The “Snake Symbolism”: A Spiritual Turning Point

One of the most talked-about moments came through a bold prophetic act, dubbed the “Snake Symbolism.” A live, dramatized deliverance demonstration using enclosed snakes sent a clear message: fear, bondage, and spiritual intimidation are under the feet of God’s daughters. “This generation will trample serpents,” Apostle Grace proclaimed. “Bondage is broken. Fear is dead.”

Social media erupted with images and testimonies from the moment, which trended under the hashtag #MyGreatPrice2025, becoming an emblem of spiritual victory and emancipation.

A Gathering of Influencers and Global Voices

Renowned international speaker and prophetic voice Dr. Cindy Trimm graced the event with a message of encouragement, urging women to rise up, challenge traditional stereotypes and bring profound beauty to their lives. “You are not victims. You are architects of culture, carriers of legacy, and voices of destiny.”

Her sermon touched on generational blessings, prophetic positioning, and spiritual warfare—drawing both tears and declarations of breakthrough from the crowd.

The conference also attracted notable figures from Uganda’s corporate, media, and entertainment sectors, cementing its reputation as both a spiritual and social landmark.

South African gospel powerhouse Ntokozo Mbambo led worship, turning the open-air space into a sanctuary of deep intimacy with God. “It wasn’t just a set,” said one attendee. “It was an encounter.”

Breakout sessions tailored for different categories of women—singles, married women, business professionals, teenagers, widows—offered practical empowerment. Topics ranged from managing finances God’s way to mental health in ministry, raising godly children, and becoming a Proverbs 31 woman in modern times.

Prior to the conference, Phaneroo launched an extensive outreach campaign. From street preaching to hospital and market evangelism, women were challenged to bring at least 20 others. Social media influencers, student fellowships, and market vendors alike became mobilizers for what many now call “a movement, not a meeting.”

Global Reach and Lasting Impact

Online testimonies streamed in from Manchester, Nairobi, Kigali, Johannesburg, Toronto, and Atlanta, confirming My Great Price 2025 as a global wave of spiritual awakening.

“We’re watching from London. Our spirits are in Kampala,” one message read.

In his closing address, Apostle Grace Lubega underscored the essence of the encounter: “We are not just raising women—we are raising kingdom architects. Go and build what you have seen today.”

As dusk fell over Kampala, one thing was clear: My Great Price 2025 was not just an event. It was a divine commission. A mandate had been handed down. And for every woman who walked away from those grounds, the charge remained echoing: You are of great price.
