President Museveni Appoints Eddy Kenzo As Presidential Advisor On Creatives

President Yoweri Museveni hss appointed Celebrated musician Edrisah Musuuza aka Eddy Kenzo to serve as Senior Presidential Advisor on Creatives.

Kenzo, the President and founder of Uganda National Musicians Federation steps in for the advisory role in a move that is aimed to bolster the music and performing arts industry in the country

The news of his appointment for the big role came in on Wednesday night at around 10:30 pm, and a post from the musician’s wife, Phionah Nyamutoro confirmed the appointment with a congratulatory message.

Eddy Kenzo became the first African artist to ever take an award to another country to appreciate fans for voting , this happened in July 2015 when he took his BET Award to Rwanda to thank his Rwandan fans for contributing to the win by voting.

Kenzo was honored with the BET Award for “Viewer’s Choice Best New International Artist”.
