Scores feared dead in Migyera accident along Kampala-Gulu Highway
NAKASONGOLA, UGANDA: An unspecified number of people are feared dead with several others injured in a fatal accident that occurred at Migyera in Nakasongola District along Kampala-Gulu highway this morning.
The accident involved a bus Reg No UBB 538K belonging to California Bus Company and a trailer that was coming from the opposite direction.
Photos shared on social media showed the wreckage of the bus crashed to nearly scrap material with fast responders and survivors stranded at the scene.
The Traffic police directorate was yet to issue a statement on the grisly road crash at the time of filing this story.
