Give Chameleone A Second Chance, He Apologized – Frank Gashumba

After apologizing for kissing Weasel on stage at his concert, Frank Gashumba begs music lovers to forgive Jose Chameleone’s mistake and give him another chance.

Weasel and Jose Chameleone appeared to kiss on the lips on February 24, 2023 during the Gwanga Mujje event. Since then, netizens have had differing reactions to this.

Following the commotion on social media, Chameleone admitted his error and said the action was “wrong” and only motivated by excitement.

“Please accept my deepest apologies to the public. My brother Weasel and I are both family men. The emotion of the situation got the best of us,” Chameleone posted on Facebook.

Some people have accepted his apologies, while others still wonder why he has kissed his brother on earlier occasions.

Speaking to the press, Frank Gashumba acknowledged that it was improper to do, particularly in an African context.

“Kissing your sibling is extremely immoral and abhorrent in African culture. More worse is the fact that it was his brother. You cannot do such things, even if it was a sister, Gashumba stated.

Gashumba then requested that Chameleone be given another chance because he admitted his mistake, expressed regret, and made a threat to beat him if he did it again.

The fact that he publicly apologized is a plus. Let’s give him another shot. We will toss him in the deepest lake if he ever commits the same crime again, the man continued.

Then, Gashumba praised him for his artistic consistency and insisted that, despite his actions, he is still the best musician in Uganda.
