Opinion: Just Like Other Kingdoms, Our King’s Protocol Team Has To Keep Omusinga Out Of Daily Photoshoots
By Hason Mutunzi Bwambale
In my opinion, His Majesty the King of Rwenzururu Kingdom, Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma, holds great sanctity and the status of royalty within his kingdom. His position as king deserves the utmost respect and recognition from all of us.
To ensure the smooth functioning of the kingdom, I believe it is important that the media briefings are carried out by the Prime Minister of the kingdom. This will not only streamline the dissemination of information but also ensure that the king’s time and attention are focused on his governance duties and responsibilities.
In addition, the receiving of gifts on behalf of the kingdom should also be delegated to the Prime Minister. This will help in maintaining the dignity and integrity of the kingdom’s royalty, as well as prevent any potential controversies or conflicts of interest.
Furthermore, I believe that a certain level of media censorship is necessary when it comes to the coverage of the king. Only during open events that the king is presiding over should the media be allowed to report. This will help in maintaining a positive image for the kingdom and prevent any miscommunication or misrepresentation of the king’s intentions or statements.
Lastly, it is crucial that the protocol team of the king receives proper training and induction. This will ensure that they are well-equipped to handle the responsibilities that come with the king’s position. Proper training will enable them to effectively manage and organize events, handle dignitaries, and maintain the protocol and traditions of the kingdom.
I strongly advocate for these measures to be implemented in order to uphold the sanctity and royalty of His Majesty the King of Rwenzururu Kingdom. These steps will not only help in maintaining the respect and stature of the king but also contribute to the smooth functioning and development of the kingdom itself.
