Bugema University Welcomes Pr. William Bagambe As New Deputy Vice Chancellor

Bugema University has announced the appointment of Pr. William Bagambe as the new Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Finance and Administration.

This key position, which oversees theFinancial and administrative aspects of the university will now be filled by Pr. Bagambe, bringing with a wealth of experience and expertise.

The appointment of Pr. Bagambe comes after his successful tenure as the Uganda UnionExecutive Secretary since August 2022.

During his time in this role, he demonstratedexceptional leadership and a deep understanding of the university’s operations. Prior to joining the Uganda Union of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (UUM), Pr. Bagambe also served as theECD Stewardship Director for eight years, further enhancing his qualifications for the newposition.

The decision to appoint Pr. Bagambe as the Deputy Vice Chancellor was made by the BugemaUniversity Executive Committee. The university recognizes his valuable contributions andbelieves that his extensive experience will greatly benefit the institution in the areas of finance and administration.

With Pr. Bagambe now assuming his new role, the office of the Uganda Union Executive, the secretary is left vacant.

The university will work closely with the ECD Executive Committee to fill this position with a qualified candidate who can effectively serve in this important capacity.
