Youth Leaders Across Central Uganda Endorse Kimuli Louis For 2026 Youth MP Seat

As the race for the 2026 parliamentary elections gathers momentum, youthful energy and political resolve echoed across Rubaga as Kimuli Louis, aspiring youth Member of Parliament for Central Region, intensified his bid under the resonant slogan, “The Youth Voice of Choice.”

Backed by youth leaders across Central Uganda and local influencers, Kimuli’s message centered on unity, self-belief, and responsible leadership, particularly among the youth whose political weight has increasingly shaped recent national dynamics.

During this event, leaders from various corners of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) youth structures endorsed Kimuli’s candidacy with powerful testimonies.

Kiiza Ssaka Bamujje, the Chairman of Rubaga, delivered a firm appeal to supporters: “Let us stop the petty fighting and rally behind him because he is able. If you have the vote, cast it for Kimuli.”

Echoing a similar tone, Kasaga Jerald, Chairman of Yellow Power, reflected on the NRM youth victories in recent national elections, calling them a clear signal that the Movement ( NRM) still holds strong across Central Uganda. “Let’s continue that momentum,” he urged, pointing to Kimuli as the next rightful beneficiary of that youth-powered wave.

Joy Namuddu, an active youth mobilizer, praised Kimuli’s character and determination. “The way he expresses himself will make him succeed. A leader who can’t help himself can’t help others, but this is one who can,” she said, adding that his rise would mark Rubaga’s first youth MP, symbolizing new beginnings for families and communities in the area..

Chairman of Rubaga District Youth, Ssewakiryanga Musa, urged his peers to “push him through,” reinforcing Kimuli’s image as a trusted and capable leader.

Mukuye Ronald, Vice Chairperson of the NRM Youth in the Central Region, highlighted Kimuli’s grassroots connectivity, describing him as “a leader who understands the youths” and one skilled in networking and inclusive leadership.

When Kimuli himself rose to address the gathering, his message combined political wisdom with spiritual and social depth.

He thanked Rubaga residents for their loyalty to the NRM and celebrated the vibrance of young people who remain active in the party.

“Even if we, as brothers, have had fights among ourselves, we must forgive. Politics may try to divide us, but we are still one family,” he said, urging the crowd.

Kimuli went further to empower the youth to rise beyond fear and mediocrity. “Don’t be cowards,” he said. “If you see a position, stand for it. If we don’t believe in ourselves, we will never do anything meaningful.”

He warned against viewing politics as a job, cautioning that leaders without a personal work ethic often become dependent and beggars. “These are the years to work for our future,” he advised. “A poor grandfather doesn’t live a happy life.”

He also addressed the often-overlooked youth who have not completed formal education, reminding them that success is not reserved for the highly educated. “Not every rich person is highly educated,” he said. “Even those who studied are often not doing what they studied.”

Concluding his address, Kimuli urged the people of Rubaga to hold tightly to their faith. “If you want to succeed, stick to God,” he said.

With a blend of humility, ambition, and grassroots backing, Kimuli Louis has positioned himself not just as a political contender, but as a generational voice determined to rewrite the narrative for Rubaga’s youth and families.

His campaign continues to gain traction, carried on the shoulders of a generation eager to be heard, represented, and empowered..
