Lt.Gen. Henry Tumukunde Launch Pressure Group, Pledge To Unseat President Museveni

As uganda is heading towords the 2021 general elections, Lt Gen Henry Tumukunde will today, August 12 launch a pressure group that will help him to easily campaigns for the presidency in the 2021 general elections.
According to our sources ,revealed that the pressure group will be launched at a press briefing at his offices in Kololo. In the press briefing , Gen. Tumukunde will account for the road map that will lead him to state house.
Gen Tumukunde will launch his pressure group ‘Kisoboka’ under which he will run as an independent candidate and will ride on the “A renewed Uganda, It is possible,” slogan using the orange colour.
In his speech, Tumukunde defended the orange color, saying it’s the colour of the revolution. He said, the sitting government has done something but whatever achieved, has been distorted.”I have come to shape the future of our country and we need to do this together as a collective responsibility for all Ugandans,” he said.
Former security minister, Lt.Gen. Henry Tumukunde declared March this year on how he was going to stand for presidency unseating his former boss President Museveni .
In a letter to the Electoral Commission, Tumukunde notified the election body of plans to consult voters ahead of his presidential elections.
“My consultations will, therefore, target various groups in the country with a view of facilitating my decisions ahead of nominations of presidential candidates slated for October 2020. I will communicate those decisions to the EC as soon as possible, in case, during the time frame prescribed in the relevant laws,”Tumukunde says in a letter received by the Electoral Commission on March 3, 2020.
