A startlingly brazen video that popular Ugandan blogger Isma Olaxess aka Jajja Ichuli posted with his followers on multiple social media platforms has surfaced just seconds after he was fatally murdered on Saturday night in Kyanja, sparking conflicting emotions.
Olaxess, who was born Ibrahim Tusibira, was shot and killed outside his home on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at about 9:40 p.m. by unidentified gunmen.
Last night, heartbreaking photos from the tragedy spread through social media, showing Isma Olaxess’ bloody body seated in a car while sporting a Lakers jersey and a scarf around his neck.
Olaxess was well-known for his unyielding character, and his followers valued his opinions on the political, social, and economic issues of the nation.
In the video below, which he recently uploaded with his fans, he makes a hint that his life is in danger and that he is receiving threats to have him removed from service for reasons he won’t disclose.
Isma Olaxess will reportedly be buried at his ancestral home in Mukono tomorrow, Sunday, May 7, 2023, despite the fact that the family has not yet issued the formal funeral schedule.
Burial will take place tomorrow in Mukono Nkokonjeru, according to Isaac Daniel Katende alias Kasuku, a close friend and coworker of the deceased.
