“The terrible shooting incident that took place tonight at around 9:20 PM in Kyanja Central Zone is currently under investigation by the Territorial Police at Kira Road. Police said that preliminary information suggested that the blogger’s car was shot at by an unidentified shooter using an SMG riffle.

According to ASP Owoyesigyire, the blogger was sat in the passenger seat when the attack occurred.

“Our hard-working task teams are now on the scene, painstakingly gathering all relevant information and conducting in-depth investigations into this horrible murder. “Because Isma’s house is next to our home, I was watching television in my room when I heard three gunshots coming from that side. I quickly turned off the TV so I could listen intently. At that very moment, I heard people running and shouting outside. I heard one of our neighbors contacting us and informing us that Isma had been shot to death as I peered through the window. Because a minister (Charles Okello Engola) was recently shot there on May 2 by his bodyguard, I am quite afraid. Really, the government needs to help. We should be given adequate security, as we now do not feel protected at all, an eyewitness claimed.
