Those Who Oppose The Government Are Going Against The Will Of God – NRM’s Rogers Mulindwa.
Rogers Mulindwa, a spokesman for the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) secretariat, declared that anyone who opposes the government is going against God’s will since leadership comes from God.
Mulindwa remarked yesterday on NBS TV that President Museveni has been allowed to control Uganda for the past three decades due of God’s “favors.”
Mulindwa’s remarks drew mixed reactions, with National Unity Platform (NUP) spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi claiming that Museveni had done worse before assuming power.
“In the early 1980s, Mr. Museveni not only challenged the government, but also went into the bush and killed numerous Ugandans in order to gain control. In a tweet, Ssenyonyi said, “Why was he going against God’s will?!?”
