I’m Going To Get 80% Of Baganda Votes In 2026 – Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba

General Muhoozi Kaineeugaba, the eldest son of Yoweri Museveni, has declared that he will run for president of the republic of Uganda in the 2026 elections alongside other hopefuls.

According to Muhoozi, said that he will shortly leave the army to focus on politics and other activities that benefit all Ugandans.

Sources from MK camp also revealed that Muhoozi has a much larger support base than any of his competitors in Uganda which gives him great confidence that he will win in the elections.

He also thinks that because his family has been raised to be leaders, they should be the only ones to hold power. On Saturday night, Muhoozi posted a tweet in which he predicted that he would receive at least 80% of the vote.

“In 2026, I’ll win at least 80% of the votes cast in Baganda.” He bemoaned.

He added that he has received a 100% vote guarantee from various areas of Uganda for the next general elections. Then, Muhoozi forewarned Bobi Wine, his main political opponent. When the elections roll around, he made a commitment to discipline him.
