A 34-Year-Old Lady Shot Dead On Her Way To The Garden, See Why Security Officers Did This

Wakiso: Police has shot dead a 34 year old woman under unclear circumstances as she headed to her garden this morning.

Jackline Nalwanga of Nakabugo village in Wakiso District was with her young son when they encountered armed security officers carrying out an operation in the area.

”One of the security officers shot my wife Nalwanga”, Her husband Kenneth Wasswa said. He adds that up to now he doesn’t know where the body of his wife has been taken.

According to one of the sons that we spoke to earlier in the morning, they were going to the garden this morning. And all of a sudden, they bumped into some security operatives who had mounted an operation and with the intention of arresting some of the residents here.

But the son says they were scared, him and the mom, and they raised an alarm, seeing armed personnel whom they didn’t know in the area.
And in the process, one of the security operatives told them to shut up. And later on, after that, then the security operative reportedly shot the mom, who fell on the ground, and then he came and then to actually find out what had really happened, and then he moved away.

So the son raised an alam, but he couldn’t be helped. And they called the dad, who is the husband of the late Jacqueline Naluanga.

That’s Kenneth Waswa. Who came back? He had gone to work. He came back. And there was a scuffle as he tried to tell the security operatives to take the wife to hospital. Maybe she could survive. He narrates that they took his wife in a car, in a vehicle commonly known as the drone, and before the reacch hospital, she passed on.

But at the moment, he says they went to Nakasero, and the security operatives forced him out of the vehicle, and he went to the mortuary, went to different hospitals trying to search where the body of his late wife would be, but the body was nowhere to be found.

By the time we filed this story, police had not yet made any statement to ascertain more details about this shooting and where the body of the late Jacqueline Nakabago is.
