Police in Natete are holding a woman suspected of fatally stabbing her former boyfriend during a domestic dispute in Wakaliga Zone B, Rubaga Division in Kampala.

The suspect, identified as Nantongo Hadijjah, 32, is accused of killing Ssebugwawo Mike, 43, a mechanic, during a confrontation in the early hours of Thursday morning.

According to Police, the two had previously been in a relationship but reportedly separated about two months ago.

Preliminary findings indicate that at around 1:00am, Ssebugwawo allegedly went to Nantongo’s rented residence after repeatedly calling her phone without receiving a response.

Upon arrival, he reportedly found the door locked while another man was inside the room.

Police say Ssebugwawo allegedly forced his way into the house, triggering a physical confrontation between him and Nantongo.
