Mbarara High School Alumni Raise Alarm Over Falling Grades, Call for Investigation

Mbarara – Concerned former students of Mbarara High School have petitioned the Ministry of Education and Sports over what they describe as declining academic results and governance lapses at the historic school.

The alumni also allege mismanagement of school land and call for a full independent probe into the Board of Governors.

They argue that without corrective action, the school’s academic excellence and legacy could be compromised.

“The alumni community cannot sit by while the standards we cherished are eroded,” the petition states.

“Immediate reforms are needed to restore integrity, accountability, and quality in the school.”

The Ministry is yet to release a statement on the matter, but sources suggest a response and possible review of the school administration could be forthcoming.
