FC Tooro Queens Coach Ayesiga Rogers Successfully Completes CAF B Diploma Coaching Course

Njeru, January 23, 2024 – Ayesiga Rogers, the coach of FC Tooro Queens, has added another feather to his cap by successfully completing the CAF B Diploma Coaching Course held at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru. The achievement was celebrated on Wednesday, January 23, 2024, as Rogers joined a group of 24 coaches who successfully completed the course.
Lead instructors for the course included Livingstone Kyambadde, Chairperson of the Uganda Football Coaches Association (UFCA), and Jackson Nyiima. The comprehensive coaching sessions covered various aspects of football, including football systems, first aid, media relations, and football fitness, among other crucial topics.
Ayesiga Rogers, aged 37, began his coaching career in 2009 and has made significant contributions to the development of women’s football in Uganda. Notably, he has played a pivotal role in promoting several players to the National team, including the likes of Kunihira Margret, Ainembabazi Joanita, Komuntale Sumaya, Kobusinge Jolly, Kamuli Cecillia, Nyakato Ruth, and Winnie Kabugho – the latter being part of the Teen Cranes team preparing for the upcoming FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier.
The accomplished coach has previously managed West Ville High School, St Paul Secondary School, King of Kings College FC, and is currently at the helm of FC Tooro Queens in the FUFA Women Elite League.
Beyond his involvement in football, Ayesiga Rogers is also engaged in the entertainment industry and serves as the director of the Home Of Talents Foundation.
