Pictorial: Renowned Pan Africanist Joshua Maponga Arrives In Uganda For PAP Global Awards

The Pan African African Pyramid (PAP) team, led by the Founding Speaker known as Chairman Andrew Irumba, caused a moment of excitement at Entebbe International Airport (EBB) as they were receiving Joshua Marara Maponga III, a well-known Pan Africanist, ahead of time for the PAP Global Awards 2023 Edition.

Joshua Maponga is a well-known preacher, philosopher, motivational speaker, theologian, author, writer, singer, businessman, and unrivaled pan-Africanist who was born in Zimbabwe.

Maponga, who received VIP treatment, was welcomed at the airport with flowers by the PAP team and enjoyed a brief moment of relaxation before being taken to one of the city’s poshest hotels, where he will stay for the duration of his stay in Uganda.

Paul Flynn, a German-born Ugandan-Irish philanthropist under his newly created organization, Gro Foundation, situated in Europe, is one of the other international guests who have already come.

Flynn was assigned to East Africa by the UN peacekeeping operation and is also a peace ambassador.

For some of our new readers, this will be the sixth iteration of the PAP Global Awards, which have drawn hundreds of Pan Africanists from all over the world in recent years to commemorate the sacrifices made by their ancestors in the fight for black liberation.

Previously, PAP has recognized several Pan Africanists who have tirelessly fought to uplift their continent socially, economically, and politically, including former Libyan President Col. Muammar Gaddafi, General Elly Tumwiine, Prof. Kajabago Ka-Rusoke, John Garang De Ma Bior, Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi, Fagil M. Mande, Winnie Mandela, His Excellence Major General Lekoa Solly Mollo (Rtd), and King Ndahura II Kashagama Imara, to mention but a few.
