Bobi Wine Shot At; Police Claim Injury Was Due to a Fall
The police have stated that an investigation will be conducted to ascertain the facts of the incident.

National Unity Platform (NUP) President Bobi Wine was allegedly shot in the leg during a scuffle with security agencies in Bulindo, Kira Municipality, Wakiso District. He had been invited to attend a Thanksgiving ceremony by Mr. George Musisi, a lawyer.
According to the police, after the ceremony concluded, Mr. Kyagulanyi left the venue, got out of his car along with others in his entourage, and began a procession through Bulindo town.
Despite police advising against the procession, the group proceeded to block the road. The police intervened to stop the procession, and it was during this time that Kyagulanyi sustained an injury.
Initial observations from those nearby indicated that a bullet had been discharged toward Kyagulanyi. However, the police claim that Kyagulanyi was injured after he stumbled while getting into his vehicle, leading to the injury.
The police have stated that an investigation will be conducted to ascertain the facts of the incident.
