The Office of NRM National Chairman (ONC) Manager, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye has rallied Ugandans, especially the Bazzukulu to rally behind legendary comedian Amooti Omubalanguzi, ahead of his upcoming show where he will celebrate 25 years in the comedy industry.

During a meeting with the comedian at ONC Kyambogo offices on Monday, Namyalo, who is also Senior Presidential Advisor and Political Assistant discussed with Amooti strategies to promote the arts and empower Bazzukulu to harness their talents and expressed her commitment to supporting his milestone show dubbed “25 Years of Amooti” set for December 13, 2024, at the UMA Showgrounds in Kampala.

Hadijah encouraged the Bazzukulu to rally behind Amooti, whom she described as a multi-talented entertainer and a beacon of inspiration for many upcoming comedians in the country.

“It is time we go out and laugh out loud. Therefore, all the Bazzukulu of this nation, and all comedy lovers, come out and we support our very own. The day is just for laughs, I will be there, my team will be there, and the Bazzukulu will be there, we shall all be there,” Hajjat Namyalo noted.

Dubbed, “25 Years of Amooti”, the event is set to happen at the UMA Showgrounds in Lugogo, Kampala starting at 6 pm. Tickets for the show go for a paltry UGX 50,000 for ordinary, UGX 100,000 for VIP, UGX 3m table, and UGX 5m for the platinum table to laugh their lungs out.
