Kampala, (UG) – Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, the Senior Presidential Advisor in charge of the Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC), has been recognized among the top 75 Uganda Development Champions. This accolade celebrates individuals whose leadership and contributions align with Uganda Vision 2040 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The announcement was made by Public Opinions, a public relations and awareness firm, during the unveiling of the 2024 certified Development Champions. Mr. Buyinza Adam Luzindana, the CEO of Public Opinions, highlighted Namyalo’s instrumental role in advancing Uganda’s socio-economic transformation under President Museveni’s leadership.

“Hajjat Namyalo has showcased unwavering dedication to the National Resistance Movement’s objectives, which have significantly enhanced Uganda’s democracy and empowered its citizens to participate in national development,” Buyinza noted during the ceremony.

He added; “President Museveni has also politically empowered marginalized sections of society, including women, youth, elders, people with disabilities, and workers, allowing them to contribute meaningfully to public affairs. Under President Museveni’s leadership, the NRM is committed to promoting vocational skills and cottage industries to overcome poverty.”

Looking ahead, Buyinza says with Hajjat Namyalo at the helm of ONC, the focus of the ruling party is on protecting votes for President Museveni in the 2026 elections across all polling stations in Uganda.

“The Office of the NRM National Chairman urges young people to embrace the party’s fundamental objectives: safeguarding security, maintaining political stability, promoting economic prosperity, and securing a bright future,” he emphasized.
