Defending Unity And Integrity: The Unfair Attacks On Hajjat Hadija Namyalo Should Be Treated As Total Nuisance
By: Elite Abemigisha Bob
In the world of politics, differing opinions and heated debates are expected, but there is a line that should never be crossed. The recent surge of baseless insults and attacks directed at Hajjati Hadija Namyalo Uzeiye, the Senior Presidential Advisor (SPA) and Personal Assistant (PA) to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, is deeply troubling.
As a political analyst and a Proud Muzzukulu of Jajja, I feel compelled to address the disturbing trend of individuals being paid to tarnish the reputation of a dedicated public servant. Hajjati Namyalo has been at the forefront of advocating for the love and support of the bazzukulu towards Jjaja Mzee Museveni. Her mission is clear: to ensure that the youth remain engaged and supportive of President Museveni’s leadership.
Her work is not about fighting anyone, least of all Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the CDF and son of the President. The notion that Hajjati Namyalo is somehow opposed to Muhoozi is nothing more than a baseless fabrication, likely fueled by those with ulterior motives.
It is evident that those orchestrating these attacks are not doing so out of genuine concern for the country. Instead, they are being driven by personal gain, using the political landscape as a means to create division and discord.
Such actions are not only detrimental to the individuals involved but also to the stability and unity of our nation. Those who engage in this kind of behavior are, in essence, enemies of the state and of President Museveni, as they seek to undermine the very foundation of our democracy.
Let us be clear: Uganda is not a monarchy. It is a democratic nation where leadership is determined by the will of the people, not by inheritance. Hajjati Namyalo’s statement that Uganda is not a monarchy is not an attack on anyone; it is a reaffirmation of the principles upon which our country was built.
Her dedication to upholding these principles should be commended, not vilified. Since assuming her role in the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjati Namyalo has brought about significant positive change in the lives of the bazzukulu and the country at large. Her efforts to mobilize and engage the youth have been instrumental in fostering a sense of national pride and responsibility among the younger generation. She has tirelessly worked to ensure that the voices of the youth are heard and that their concerns are addressed.
In conclusion, the attacks on Hajjati Hadija Namyalo Uzeiye are not only unfair but also harmful to the unity of our nation. Those who are orchestrating these attacks for personal gain are doing a disservice to the country and to the President.
It is crucial that we stand together as BAZZUKULU and as Ugandans to defend the integrity of our leaders and the democratic values that define our nation.
Let us not allow opportunists to sow seeds of discord; instead, let us continue to support those who work tirelessly for the betterment of Uganda.
