Police have offered a 20 million shilling reward for any person possessing crucial information about two suspected ADF terrorists, namely Kamusi Musa and Habib Suliman. These individuals are implicated in planting Improvised Explosive Devices, intending to cause harm and instill fear among the public through various attacks across the country.
The Joint Anti-terrorism task force (JAT), comprising the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI), Internal Security Organization (ISO), Counter Terrorism (CT), and Crime Intelligence (CI), is actively pursuing two suspected terror rebels believed to be involved in planting Improvised Explosive Devices in Kampala, Butambala, Kasese, and Bundibugyo, with the intent of causing harm to Ugandans and instilling fear in the public.
Kamusi Musa, whose photo has been shared by the police, has reportedly replaced as commander of the splitter ADF group led by Njovu, an ADF leader arrested by UPDF marines during an aggressive pursuit on Lake Edward as they attempted to infiltrate the country. Njovu is known to have been part of the unit that killed tourists in Queen Elizabeth National Park and massacred students of Mpondwe Lhubiriha Secondary School in Kasese. Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga emphasized that Kamusi remains a threat to the public and is a key figure on the wanted list of criminals.
Police Counter Terrorism teams are also in pursuit of Habib Suliman, also known as Kijaana, for his active involvement in attacks in Kabalagala, Katooke, Nansana, and his connection to multiple foiled attacks on crowded places, including Mabiito, Natete, Bunamwaya, Pastor Kayanja’s church, Kibibi church, and others in Butambala. A reward of 20 million awaits anyone providing crucial information about these two terror suspects. While providing leads is crucial for security agencies to apprehend the criminals, the public is advised not to approach the two suspects because they are armed and dangerous.
The public is advised not to approach the two since they are armed and dangerous but encouraged to communicate through Police lines, including 0779999999 on WhatsApp and 0800199099 toll-free for potential follow-ups.
