UNEB Issues Warning Against Illegal Sharing Of PLE Questions Papers On Whats-app Group
As the Primary 7 pupils gear up for their end-of-year examinations, the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has issued a stern warning against members using a WhatsApp group to share Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) question papers illegally.
UNEB officials have identified a specific cluster of members who have created a WhatsApp group allegedly dedicated to sharing PLE question papers. The group, initially labeled “Director group/beans,” has now been renamed as “Board of Governors” and currently has 358 members.
The Executive Director of UNEB expressed grave concern over this illicit activity, emphasizing that those intending to use the group for illegal acts will face severe consequences. He highlighted that the repercussions for such actions will be stringent and emphasized the board’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
UNEB urges the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to the leak of examination materials. The board is working closely with law enforcement agencies to identify and take legal action against individuals involved in such malpractices.
Parents, teachers, and students are encouraged to rely on official channels and resources provided by UNEB to prepare for the examinations. The board reassures the public that measures are in place to ensure a fair and transparent examination process, and any attempts to compromise the integrity of the exams will be met with swift and decisive action.
