Newborn Miracle: Soroti City Police Rescue Abandoned Baby Found Near Sparrow Hote
The police in Soroti City have successfully recovered a four-day-old baby boy who was found abandoned near the swimming pool of Sparrow Hotel in Soroti City’s East Division. The infant, believed to have been left there at approximately 5:00 am, was discovered by individuals during their morning commute.
Amos Oluka, the Soroti probation officer, sent out a message urging the community to be on the lookout for any missing baby. He reported, “A child of 3-4 days old has been recovered from around the swimming pool at Opiro kindly check your neighborhood for a missing baby and notify probation officers of the city and district.”
While speaking to the media, Oluka explained that the baby has been taken to the Amecet children’s home while they await the mother or other relatives to come forward. He emphasized, “This baby shall be well taken care of as we wait for the Police to locate his mother. We suspect that the father of the child may be in the vicinity. We encourage people to report any women or girls who were recently pregnant but are no longer visibly pregnant.”
The police have initiated a general inquiry into the discovery of the abandoned baby as they continue their efforts to determine the circumstances surrounding this case.
