Man Found Dead In Fish Pond In Kasese
On Tuesday, people in the Kayanja parish Nyakiyumbu Sub County Kasese district found the body of a man who had allegedly drowned in a fish pond.
The dead was identified by the locals as Monday Nyameri, but the reasons of his passing are still unknown. On Tuesday morning, the pound owner was conducting an inspection when he found him.
A local claimed that Bahati Baluku was last seen in the trade district on Monday with several buddies. Nelson Tumushime, the spokeswoman for the Rwenzori East Police, stated that while investigations have begun, homeowners with ponds in the area have been requested to fence them off in order to prevent repeat incidents.
In anticipation of the postmortem, the deceased’s body is in Bwera General Hospital.
