Furious Members of Parliament (MPs) have expressed worries about the impact of Ugandan homosexual rights activists and recommended the World  Bank to be vigilant when considering their assertions, characterizing them as  self-interested people. Mps also claim that these activists are solely interested in advancing their own interests and will eventually stop  speaking out in favor of homosexuality once they achieve what they want. In response to the World Bank’s decision to halt funding for projects in Uganda as a result of the passage of the Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023, these  statements were made at a press conference held at Parliament.
