Ntinda Youth Choir To Celebrate 15 Years Of Music And Ministry In Grand Thanksgiving Event

Kampala, Uganda – Ntinda Youth Choir (NYC), a vibrant musical ministry under Ntinda SDA Church, is set to mark a significant milestone with a grand Thanksgiving celebration in honor of 15 years of dedication to God through music, highlighting the choir’s journey of faith, worship, and service.
This mega event also known as NYC Home Coming, will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Ntinda SDA Church in Luzira District where all christians and well-wishers are warmly invited to join the celebration.
According sources, this special day promises an enriching experience featuring live musical performances, including heart touching hymns and songs that trace the choir’s journey from its humble beginnings and It will be a time of worship, reflection, and gratitude for the countless lives touched by the choir’s ministry.
Emanuel Kisala Katamba, the church pastor of Ntinda SDA Church, emphasized the importance of thanksgiving in his invitation to Christians across Luzira District and Central Uganda Conference (CUC). “Thanks giving opens the door to God’s blessings. It is not just about celebrating milestones; it is about acknowledging God’s faithfulness and His abundant grace that has brought us this far,” he said.
Pastor Katamba encouraged attendees to join in supporting NYC during this historical Thanksgiving event celebrating 15 years of ministry. He also emphasized the importance of unity and gratitude in marking this milestone. “Your presence is not just a show of solidarity; it is an act of faith and love that helps secure the future of our church,” Pastor Katamba added.
According to Mrs. Norah Mubiru, a special offertory will be collected to aid the purchase of land for Ntinda SDA Church, a step towards securing a permanent home for the church’s activities and growth.
The NYC Thanksgiving celebration will also serve as a reunion for past and present choir members, allowing them to relive cherished moments and reignite their passion for ministry. It will also offer an opportunity for the broader church community to come together in fellowship and support.
Samuel Kajoba, the chairperson of NYC, extended a warm invitation to all well-wishers to join the celebration, emphasizing the significance of the milestone. “This 15-year journey is a testament to God’s faithfulness and the unwavering support of our community. We welcome everyone to be part of this joyous occasion as we celebrate, worship, and reflect on His goodness,” Kajoba said.
