Five Injured In Kyenjojo Road Accident As PokoPoko Bus Rams Into Parked Trailer

Kyenjojo, Uganda – Five people have been rushed to Kyenjojo Hospital following a road accident involving a Kasese-Kampala bound bus from PokoPoko Bus Company. The incident occurred in Kyenjojo district today in the noon.
The bus, bearing registration number UAQ 226 W, rammed into a stationary trailer reportedly parked in the middle of the road at Kaihura trading center along the Kyenjojo-Kampala highway.
Although there has been no official comment from the police, Mr. Wilfred Baluku Kamusede, the spokesperson for PokoPoko Bus Company, confirmed the accident. He stated, “The accident happened today when PokoPoko Bus Registration Number UAQ 226 W collided with a trailer parked in the middle of the road at Kaihura trading center.”
The condition of the injured passengers remains unknown as they receive treatment at Kyenjojo Hospital.
