Two Sons Wanted for Attacking Their Cheating Mother and Her Manfriend

In a shocking turn of events, the peaceful village of Akaramai in Kamom parish, Bukedea district, has been shaken by a violent attack perpetrated by two brothers against their own mother and her manfriend. The suspects, identified as Onenge Andrew and Opio Ivan, are currently on the run as authorities intensify efforts to bring them to justice.

The incident, which occurred on March 20, 2024, unfolded when the brothers returned home late in the evening to discover their mother, Asikeit Melidah, and her manfriend, Omerikol Joseph, asleep in their father’s house. Angered by this discovery, the brothers reportedly armed themselves with pangas and launched a brutal assault on the unsuspecting couple, leaving them critically injured.

According to sources close to the family, the motive behind the vicious attack stems from allegations of adultery on the part of the mother. It is believed that the brothers, upon discovering their mother’s infidelity, were consumed by rage and chose to take matters into their own hands rather than seeking alternative resolutions.

The victims, Asikeit Melidah and Omerikol Joseph, were rushed to Bukedea Health Centre IV for urgent medical attention, where they continue to receive treatment for their injuries.

Authorities have condemned the violent actions of the brothers, emphasizing that such behavior is unacceptable and warrants severe consequences. “We do strongly condemn such acts of violent attacks against biological parents by children. It is a serious abomination,” stated a police spokesperson.
