Seven Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Ndiga Clan Head
In a significant development, police have made a breakthrough in the investigation into the murder of Buganda Kingdom’s Ndiga Clan head, Eng. Daniel Bbosa, with the arrest of seven suspects.
According to Mr. Fred Enanga, the police publicist, among the apprehended individuals is Milly Naluwenda, a Buganda Court Kisekwa official, who was taken into custody last week from Lugunjja.
In a statement released by the police, it was disclosed that the Joint Crime Intelligence/CID task teams, in coordination with the KMP territorial team, have successfully detained seven suspects, including Lujja Noah, who is currently hospitalized under guard.
The arrests are in connection with the violent murder of businessman and clan leader Eng. Daniel Bbosa, who was fatally shot on February 25, 2024, at approximately 6 pm in Lungujja Parish as he was heading home to Kikandwa zone.
While the names of five suspects have been withheld pending legal guidance from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), it has been revealed that they were all involved in the plot to target and eliminate Mr. Bbosa.
The deceased, who was laid to rest at the Ndiga Clan burial grounds in Mbale village in Mpigi Town Council on Sunday, March 3, 2024, was mourned by the community, who await justice for his untimely death.
