Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Kingdom Deputy Attorney General, David Bwambale Kongolo, has sought permission from the King to retire from his position, as he sets his sights on a career in elective politics. Mr. Kongolo has been granted the King’s blessing to pursue his political ambitions and serve his subjects in a different capacity.

This development follows the recent instruction from King Charles Wesley Mumbere to his ministers, urging them to be transparent about their political aspirations. In response to this directive, Mr. Kongolo has decided to participate in the upcoming National Resistance Movement (NRM) primary elections as a candidate for the Member of Parliament seat for Busongora South.
