Sheebah Karungi, a Ugandan singer, said earlier this week that she had been sexually harassed by someone she claimed to be a “known figure” in the country.

Sheebah described how she was sexually harassed by a well-known Ugandan who had scheduled her to play at his event in an Instagram video posted on Monday, May 9, 2022.

“I was in my car thinking about this old pervert who was trying to be funny with me.” With his security, he simply opened my automobile. They discovered me sleeping in my car as I was about to take the stage. I always wait for my bosses to inform me before I begin dressing up. First and foremost, this mother f*cker is attempting to be impolite to me in front of my teammates.

The multi-award-winning female singer also slammed men for sexually abusing women they meet without considering what might happen to their own daughters.

“Why do you treat women as if they were objects?” Do you not have any daughters? Sheebah added, “Treat the wowwomen you meet the way you would want your daughters to be treated.”

Bad Black, a Kampala socialite, then alleged that the person responsible for Sheebah’s sexual harassment is former Vice President Professor Gilbert Bukenya, who she claims paid Sheebah Ugx. 5 million to play two songs at his birthday celebration last weekend.

“Kalungi sheebah, you were given 5 million to sing two songs for his birthday sikukwata to force you into something kyotetegekedde::: be courageous enough to tell us >> Professor Gilbert Bukenya issued a kole apologies for all of this nonsense… You’ve already brought the situation to the attention of the online disciplinary committee, therefore there’s nothing to hide::::: “Oba olimba tulibulule,” Bad Black writes on social media, “but words reached mbu former President adviser from sheebaolic lawyer Masolo queen.”

Sheebah’s saga has since proven to be an excellent sound that some women appear to have been waiting for to de-campaign the sexual harassment issue that is on the rise, particularly among musicians.

Sheebah’s name, on the other hand, has long been associated with Ugandan celebrities who dress sexually on and off stage.

Her fashion sense has been questioned on several occasions.

Discussions are currently escalating in the online, mainstream media, and public arena concerning the subject, as well as some Ugandan female celebrities’ provocative dress regulations.
