Wanted Uganda Prisons warder arrested in DRC for shooting his supervisors

Uganda prisons officer Aguyo Moses who shot and killed four people including 3 senior officers and a one year old toddler in Kiboga Prison has been arrested in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
On 23 February 2026, a prison warder identified as Moses Anguyo allegedly shot dead Four people at Kiboga Government Prison.
‎The victims
‎Assistant Superintendent of Prisons Hope Catherine (Deputy Officer-in-Charge)
‎Principal Officer Bright Akishuri (third in command)
‎Sarah Ayebare, the wife of the Officer-in-Charge
‎and the 1 year old todler.
‎Authorities confirmed the incident happened at around 10:00 AM inside the prison facility.  Uganda prisons had previously put a bounty of 10 Million Shillings on who ever has any information regarding Anguyo. #IvanKaahwaReports
