Buchaman Urges Bobi Wine to Quit ‘Rabadoba’ Lifestyle Over Security Concerns
Presidential advisor on ghetto affairs Mark Bugembe, popularly known as Buchaman, has urged National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine, to abandon what he described as a “Rabadoba lifestyle,” warning that it could unknowingly place his life in danger.
Speaking during a media appearance, Buchaman expressed concern over Bobi Wine’s continued involvement in high-energy political activism and frequent public mobilization activities, which he claimed expose the opposition leader to unnecessary security risks.
Buchaman argued that as a prominent national figure and former presidential candidate, Bobi Wine should prioritize his personal safety and adopt a more cautious approach to political engagement.
He added that leaders with significant public influence must balance activism with strategic planning to avoid situations that may escalate into violence or confrontations.
However, Bobi Wine and his supporters have consistently defended his grassroots approach to politics, saying direct engagement with ordinary Ugandans remains central to his leadership style and political philosophy.
The remarks from Buchaman are likely to spark debate among political observers and supporters across the divide, especially given the long-standing political differences between the two public figures
