Traditional Healer in Ntwentwe Draws Clients Over Cultural and Spiritual Services

Ntwentwe, Uganda – A traditional healer based in Ntwentwe, identified as Ssalongo Muzanganda, is increasingly attracting attention from residents who say his cultural and spiritual services have helped them address a variety of personal, family and financial challenges.

According to information shared by his clients and supporters, Ssalongo Muzanganda has built a reputation in the area for providing traditional consultations aimed at helping people overcome difficulties affecting their everyday lives.

Community members from surrounding villages are said to travel to Ntwentwe to seek his guidance.

Among the services he advertises is assistance aimed at restoring male sexual strength (Amaanyi g’obusajja – Man power), which he says helps men who are experiencing challenges in their relationships.

He also claims to provide traditional support to couples struggling to have children (Oluzaalo), offering consultations and remedies that he says are intended to help families dealing with infertility challenges.

Ssalongo Muzanganda further says he offers cultural guidance to couples experiencing misunderstandings or marital conflict (Obufumbo – Marriage), with the aim of restoring peace and harmony in their homes.

In addition to family matters, the healer says he assists individuals who are looking for employment opportunities (Emirimu – Jobs) through consultations believed to improve a person’s chances of securing work.

He also advertises services aimed at improving financial fortunes (Omukisa gwa ssente), which some clients say help open opportunities for income and prosperity.

Small-scale traders and business owners are also among those who reportedly seek his services.

According to the healer, he performs traditional rituals and consultations intended to boost business activity and increase sales (By’otunda binganye).

Ssalongo Muzanganda also says he offers guidance to families with relatives in prison (Omuntu wo nga ali mu kkomera), claiming to provide cultural advice and spiritual support to help them navigate such difficult situations.

He further states that he handles certain cultural and spiritual challenges, including helping individuals believed to be suffering from mental disturbances associated with traditional beliefs (Omulalu eyagala oterera – ebizibu by’ennono).

Another service he offers involves consultations for individuals who want to determine whether a particular opportunity or situation may bring good fortune or misfortune (Okumanya oba kintu kya mukisa oba kya kwambulira).

Some residents in the area have publicly shared testimonies about the healer’s work.

Bukenya Brain, a resident who says he has interacted with Ssalongo Muzanganda, described the healer as someone whose services have helped several people in the community.

“I have personally witnessed his work and I can say he works for real.

Many people have gone to him with different problems and they have received help. His services work very well,” Bukenya said.

He added that word of mouth from satisfied clients has contributed to the healer’s growing popularity, with people from nearby districts reportedly visiting Ntwentwe to seek consultations.

Ssalongo Muzanganda says his work is guided by traditional knowledge and cultural practices passed down over generations, and that he remains committed to helping people overcome challenges affecting their lives.
