Kampala, Uganda — February 12, 2026Bamulopa Sulaiman, a prominent education entrepreneur and tycoon, has made significant strides in Uganda’s private education sector, with his flagship institution, MK International School in Busega, setting new benchmarks for learning.

Originally from Jinja, Sulaiman moved to Kampala in 2008 with a vision to provide quality education accessible to many.

In 2009, he founded MK International School as a common school. Over time, the school grew in reputation and enrollment, gaining recognition for its disciplined learning environment.

In 2022, Sulaiman launched a major redevelopment project at the school, constructing modern buildings and introducing facilities that elevated it to international standards, reflecting his ambition to provide students with a world-class learning experience.

MK International School emphasizes holistic development. Under Sulaiman’s guidance, the school established a music choir, aimed at nurturing artistic talent among students, alongside sporting programs such as football.

The school’s distinctive uniforms feature the Uganda Red Cross badge, highlighting its partnership with the Uganda Red Cross Society, which partially funds the institution.

Beyond his flagship school, Sulaiman also owns MK Primary School in Masanafu, expanding his footprint in Uganda’s education sector and reinforcing his reputation as a visionary in private education.

Bamulopa Sulaiman’s journey from Jinja to Kampala and from a small community school to an internationally recognized institution exemplifies his commitment to empowering the next generation of Ugandans through education, talent development, and community engagement.
