Kampala — John Mary Ssebuufu, a member of the National Unity Platform (NUP) Election Management Committee, has been charged with incitement to violence at Nakawa Chief Magistrate’s Court following three weeks in detention.

Ssebuufu had been held in custody amid growing concerns from his legal team and supporters over the legality of his continued detention.
