TotalEnergies Uganda has relocated three of its key entities to a single, state-of-the-art office space at Sudhir Ruparelia’s RR Pearl One Building on Yusuf Lule Road, a move that underscores both the company’s integration strategy and Kampala’s growing appeal as a hub for modern corporate infrastructure.

The building, owned by one of Uganda’s leading real estate developers, now houses TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda Limited, TotalEnergies EP Uganda, and the East African Crude Oil Pipeline offices under a unified workspace branded T-Hive.

The T-Hive concept, born from staff collaboration, is designed to foster innovation, connectivity, and employee well-being while supporting TotalEnergies Uganda’s “One TotalEnergies, One Country” vision.

According to company representatives, the facility blends operational efficiency with comfort, offering more than 400 basement parking slots across three levels, including dedicated electric vehicle charging stations.

Visitors entering the RR Pearl One Building are greeted by a secure, welcoming lobby with a reception desk managed by TotalEnergies EP Uganda and guided access through chipped badges.

The ground floor features practical amenities such as a Bonjour convenience shop, a joint medical clinic, and a modern mothers’ room, reflecting a focus on employee care and inclusivity.

Each floor has been thoughtfully allocated to different business functions. The first floor hosts TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda, while the second accommodates HR, logistics, contracts, procurement, field operations, and the EP Uganda reception. The third floor brings together finance, IT, and project management teams alongside a cafeteria offering panoramic views of Kampala, complete with a coffee bar and visitor lounge. Upper levels house specialised units covering drilling, health and safety, environment, biodiversity, geoscience, legal, corporate affairs, and EACOP offices. Flexible workstations, bubble rooms, and social lounges encourage collaboration and informal interaction across teams.

Accessibility and sustainability were central to the design, with wheelchair-friendly facilities, waste segregation systems, and discreet security measures that protect both safety and privacy. “Security remains a priority, but cameras are only placed in shared areas to respect privacy. Sustainability and employee well-being have guided every detail of T-Hive’s design,” TotalEnergies Uganda stated.

Industry analysts view the consolidation as a strategic milestone, signalling confidence in Uganda’s energy sector and the local commercial real estate market.

By bringing upstream exploration, downstream marketing, and pipeline development teams together under one roof, TotalEnergies strengthens operational coordination while modelling a modern, integrated corporate culture.

The move also aligns with Uganda’s broader energy ambitions, including the landmark EACOP project.

As the country seeks to expand its footprint in regional energy markets, the T-Hive workspace exemplifies how strategic infrastructure can support both employee satisfaction and operational excellence, setting a standard for corporate offices in Kampala and beyond.
