Matugga, Wakiso District — Gospel stars Levixone and Desire Luzinda marked a milestone in their much-followed relationship on Tuesday 12/8/2025 with a vibrant introduction ceremony that blended tradition, music, and heartfelt moments.

Held at Luzinda’s family home, the event drew relatives, friends, and an array of high-profile guests from the entertainment industry and beyond, creating a lively atmosphere that underscored the couple’s influence both on and off stage.

Among the distinguished attendees was Special Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs and Chief Muzzukulu, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, whose presence added a political and personal dimension to the celebration.

Recalling her shared school years with Luzinda, Hajjat Namyalo used the occasion to offer advice rooted in faith and resilience. “Marriage thrives on trust, values, and a shared belief in God,” she told the couple, urging them to remain focused on each other and to ignore voices intent on sowing doubt.

Beyond her words of counsel, Hajjat Namyalo seized the moment to rally support for President Yoweri Museveni ahead of the 2026 elections, describing him as “the most reliable choice for Uganda’s continued progress.”

Her remarks, delivered to a crowd already buoyed by the celebratory mood, carried both a personal endorsement and a reminder of her role in mobilising political support for the incumbent president.

As a sign of goodwill, she gifted the couple and several performing artists cash totalling more than USD 3,000, a gesture met with cheers and applause. The generosity added to the day’s festive spirit, which was further lifted by live performances from leading gospel and mainstream artists, blending praise, dance, and cultural displays.

The Levixone–Luzinda relationship has been a frequent subject of public interest since the gospel singer revealed their engagement.

Today’s ceremony not only formalised the union in the eyes of family and community but also showcased a partnership grounded in shared faith and artistic passion.

By the close of the day, the newly introduced couple had celebrated not just a cultural rite, but a union cheered on by fans, colleagues, and well-wishers from across the country.
