CAOs, law enforcement officers internet pay elevate as wage bill rises to shs8.55 trillion

Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | The executive has increased the nationwide wage bill by UGX 724.7 billion within the 2025/2026 financial year to boost wage enhancements for selected public servants, together with Chief Administrative Officers (CAOs), police and jail officers, and senior civil servants in native governments.
