
Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | The Commissioner guilty of Peace Make stronger Operations, Polly Namaye, has urged the 142 police officers who have lawful returned from mission in Somalia to employ the expertise of serving within the country to make stronger police service.
Namaye, who officially got the officers after their 14 months tour of accountability under African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) acknowledged they’ve received adequate expertise which they wish to apply in their each day service in Uganda police force.
“We are proud of you because you have gotten been dedicated to the mission tasks, your self-discipline is recommendable, and your professionalism is grand. You potentially can had been main in promoting regional peace and stability,” CP Namaye acknowledged.
Police ATMIS crew led by Deputy Contingent Commander Senior Superintendent of Police –SSP Andrew Musiime, comprised 20 female and 122 male officers. The crew acknowledged they’ve received adequate experienced that can maybe support them in handling accountability challenges encourage dwelling.
As adversarial to praising the officers for their dedication, self-discipline, and professionalism, highlighting their main role in promoting regional peace and stability, CP Namaye acknowledged: “I support you to apply the abilities and expertise received at some level of the mission to make stronger team safety and policing requirements in Uganda.”
Every twelve months, Uganda Police sends its personnel to help in Somalia and South Sudan under the United Worldwide locations association. Already, the brand new contingent has been deployed in Somalia to substitute the returnees.
