The Manager of the Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC), SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, earlier today, hosted celebrated gospel artist and pastor, Wilson Bugembe, at her office in Kyambogo in a visit that highlights ONC’s continued support for talent and youth empowerment.

Bugembe, whose inspirational music has touched lives across Uganda and beyond, paid a courtesy call on the ONC boss ahead of his much-anticipated concert celebrating 20 years in the gospel music industry. It is slated for August 8, 2025.

Speaking during the meeting, Hajjat Namyalo praised Pastor Bugembe as a living testimony of how President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s visionary leadership and the peace ushered in by the NRM government have enabled talents to thrive.

“As ONC, we celebrate and support talents that inspire and uplift society and promote Bazzukulu to thrive. Pastor Bugembe is a product of the peaceful and enabling environment our Jajja H.E. Kaguta Museveni has fought to build. His journey is a testimony to what is possible under NRM leadership,” she said.

Hajjat Namyalo pledged ONC’s support for the anniversary show and encouraged Ugandans, especially the youth, to emulate Bugembe’s discipline, consistency, and impact-driven talent.

In a humorous tone that drew laughter, she added, “We’ll support your show and hopefully see your missing rib that day.”

Bugembe currently sleeps like Pope Leo XIV.

On his part, Bugembe expressed gratitude to Hajjat Namyalo for the warm reception and commended her efforts under ONC to uplift ordinary Ugandans through empowerment initiatives.

“This is the second time I am meeting Hajjat Hadijah. The first time happened during the Dr Bbosa book launch. She spoke words that drew admiration for her style. I thank her for welcoming all regardless of religion or tribe,” Bugembe said.

He also said a prayer for Hajjat Hadijah, asking God to protect and guide her as she manages the office.

The upcoming concert is expected to draw thousands in celebration of two decades of spiritual music, hope, and service.

ONC has supported Bugembe by buying tickets worth 3 VVIP tables.
