A female artist from Iganga dumped a child’s corpse on my office desk – Sophie Gombya

Singer Sophie Gombya has opened up about a horrifying incident when a certain female artist from Iganga dumped the corpse of a child in her office.

She noted that the artist first gave her a phone call explaining the struggles she was going through with her ailing child at Mulago hospital, as she requested assistance from UMA.

After three days, very early on a Monday morning, the lady stormed her office with a travel bag and placed it on the table, announcing to her how she had lost her child, and demanded money to travel to Iganga for the burial.

The lady simply unzipped her bag and displayed the corpse that was lying in there. In that process, Sophie also lost her cool and went tough on her.

The day I quit office, there was an artist from Iganga who contacted me requesting assistance to support her sick child, who was at Mulago hospital. After three days, on a Monday morning, the girl stormed the office with a travel bag and placed it on the table.

She introduced herself to me and told me how her child had eventually passed on. She demanded money to travel to Iganga for the burial. When I lost my cool, she opened the bag, and the corpse was lying in there.
