Horror As UNEB Scout Arrested With Leaked PLE Paper
The Kira Police Division is holding Edward Kibale, an UNEB scout for alleged possession of disclosing primary Leaving examination (PLE) exams.
The suspect is a resident of Buikwe district, but was deployed by council in Wakiso district to Little Lina Elementary School in Kimbejja, Kyaliwajjala.
According to Luke Owoyesigire, the deputy spokesperson of the Kampala metropolis said that Kibale was found with different PLE documents similar to this year’s exam. He was arrested and interrogated by Kira Police Division.
This year’s PLE is expected to feature 749,811 candidates from 14,300 examination centers.
Yesterday, candidates started writing their exams with math in the morning, followed by social studies in the afternoon. Today, Wednesday, March 31st, applicants began with Integrated Science in the morning and English in the afternoon.
The Board has assigned a total of 50,800 field personnel to conduct the SMP examination across the country. These include District monitors, scouts, supervisors and invigilators.
