Put More Efforts In Starting Up Small Industries – Owobusobozi Bisaka Urges Believers In Kagadi
The leader and founder of the Faith of Unity, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka, has urged believers and residents in Kagadi District to channel their efforts into establishing small-scale industries. Speaking during a three-day gathering held from December 23rd to 26th, 2024, at Twerire Village in Galiboleka Subcounty, Owobusobozi emphasized the importance of industrialization in fostering economic growth and self-reliance.
The event, held at Kampyemi Bukwenda, drew believers and citizens from across the region where Over 128 people joined the Faith of Unity during the visit, transitioning from various religious backgrounds. The conversions, according to attendees, marked significant progress in the Faith’s mission to strengthen its grassroots in Kagadi
Addressing the congregation, Owobusobozi Bisaka highlighted the core teachings of the Faith of Unity, particularly the importance of oneness to eliminate divisions stemming from religion, tribe, and other societal differences. He called upon believers to embrace development-oriented initiatives, including starting small industries, to improve their livelihoods and contribute to regional progress.
The leader also inaugurated new staff to further the Faith’s mission and declared the formerly witchcraft-practicing areas of Kampyemi Bukwenda as places now dedicated to unity and transformation.
Owobusobozi praised President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for fostering peace, security, and freedom in Uganda, which he said has enabled the growth and prosperity of the Faith of Unity. He recounted past challenges faced by the Faith in the 1980s and 1990s and credited Museveni for addressing propaganda that had been used to hinder its operations.
“President Museveni’s leadership has given us the stability needed to grow the Faith of Unity. We owe him our gratitude and support,” he said, reiterating that believers of the Faith of Unity also align themselves with the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.
The event also featured testimonies of healing, with many claiming to have experienced spiritual and physical restoration. Among them was a man who had suffered from mental illness for years and was reportedly healed during the gathering. Those healed expressed gratitude to Owobusobozi Bisaka and sought his blessings as they embraced the Faith of Unity.
Owobusobozi distributed the Faith’s calendar to the congregation, which outlines three designated worship days each month. These days, he emphasized, are reserved for believers to dedicate themselves fully to praising and worshiping God.
Following his visit to Kagadi, Owobusobozi Bisaka is set to continue his mission in Bukwenda, Kiboga District, from December 29th to 31st. His teachings will focus on mobilizing support for President Museveni and strengthening the Faith of Unity’s impact nationwide.
