Tragic Ritual Killing Unveiled: Man On The Run After Allegedly Murdering Pregnant Wife For Ritual Sacrifice

In a shocking incident in Arua City, Isaac Adedri Ogui is being sought by police for the alleged ritualistic murder of his pregnant wife, Sharon Enzaru. Enzaru, expecting a baby at the time, was reportedly lured to the Democratic Republic of Congo by her husband and subsequently killed on October 24, 2023. The gruesome act involved the removal of body parts, including the unborn child.

The revelation came to light on November 14, 2023, leading to chaos between Enzaru’s family and the husband. The family received information that their daughter had been killed and buried in the DR Congo. The matter was officially reported to the police on November 17, 2023, after a relative brought photographs identifying the deceased as Sharon Enzaru.

Efforts to apprehend Ogui were unsuccessful as he and his family fled their residence in Kasua cell, Komite Ward Ayivu division, to an unknown location. The police are actively tracing their whereabouts.

The body of Enzaru was repatriated to Uganda on Thursday for a postmortem examination, facilitated by migration officials from both countries. Postmortem results revealed the absence of two kidneys and part of the uterus from the deceased.

Marlon Avutia, the Mayor of Ayivu Division in Arua City, appealed for calm among the affected community members, urging them not to take the law into their own hands. As the police intensify the search for the suspect, Avutia encouraged the community to share information on the whereabouts of the fugitive.
