In a shocking revelation, the Inspector General of Government, Betty Kamya, has fallen victim to hackers who gained unauthorized access to her Airtel and MTN phone lines. The perpetrators are exploiting her identity to engage in fraudulent activities, specifically soliciting money from unsuspecting individuals.

Betty Kamya has issued a warning to the public, urging them to exercise caution and not fall prey to these malicious actors. She has promptly reported the incident to the police, who have initiated an investigation into the matter.

In a statement, Betty Kamya stated, “I want to make it clear to the public that my phone lines have been hacked. My name is being used to solicit money from individuals who are currently under investigation by the Inspector General of Government.”
