UPPA, LOP Settle Differences Diplomatically, Agree To Work Together

Uganda Parliamentary Press Association Secretary General, Tusiime Apollo has announced that the demand for an explanation by the leader of opposition after making what appeared to be a ridiculous statement against journalists covering parliament has been halted.
This follows the LOPs clarification in a press briefing, the same platform he used to communicate what was persieved as an attack on members of the forth estate accredited to cover parliament affairs.
The LOP emphasized that his comments were not directed to Parliamentary journalists but other contributes on stories filled by the Journalists who cover parliament. He commended the role UPPA journalists are doing in reporting parliament affairs.
The secretary General for UPPA acknowledged LOPs clarification and convincing and noted that the matter has been resolved in a diplomatic manner.
He appreciated the LOP for his gesture and envisaged continued cordial relationship with the office of the LOP onwards.
