Addressing a crowd of thousands, Hajjat Namyalo emphasized the crucial need for every Ugandan to embrace the economic guidance advocated by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. She conveyed that the equipment distributed during the empowerment drive was a direct contribution from the President himself, highlighting his commitment to uplifting the lives of citizens.

Hajjat Namyalo proceeded to distribute an array of equipment, including welding machines, deep fryers, car washing machines, G-Nuts grinding machines, bricklaying machines, hoes, spraying pumps, fertilizers, seeds, popcorn machines, and salon equipment, among others. Notable beneficiaries of this initiative included the Busoga Kingdom Skilling Group, Kiwumo Youth Development Association, Buwaji Youth Carpentry Group, Sisimuka Women Development Group, Kyabazinga Voluntary Guards, Busoga Bulaleire Group, Bukono Youth Group, and Bukono Mpango youth group, among many others.

Commending the ONC’s generosity and strategic efforts, Busoga Kingdom Prime Minister Joseph Muvawala expressed appreciation for the initiative’s goal of fostering a prosperous country with empowered citizens. He also cautioned the Kyabazinga subjects to use the provided equipment responsibly, assuring that there would be monitoring to ensure adherence to the intended purposes.
